The kit for my DSLR camera is great and the remote control is awesome. Maybe the hardware engineer made the phone app, which would explain it. The hardware engineers are clearly better. I have been a software engineer for 25 years and I can say that failing to provide this basic feature is so pathetic for a programmer that it is embarrassing. Copy/paste is one of the most basic functions in software and in this case it is CENTRAL to the core purpose of the app. What an unbelievably weak piece of software. This makes entering scripts by essentially "texting" words into the app a total NIGHTMARE. You cannot import file text or copy/paste text into the app. It’s probably because of you that the company made these adjustments. Sorry for those of you who experienced something different the first time. Overall I give this product 5 starts because I didn’t have any issues once I received it. I tested my recording to see if the words would appear in my video and thankfully they did not. The remote work fine and the app worked fine. Once I selected it, my phone automatically went into teleprompter mode and I was able to adjust the settings just fine by tapping on the “hamburger“ three lines menu. My text was now saved as one of the items that I could select. Then I hit save at the bottom of this composer. I copied and pasted my text from a document that I had open in the background. The first thing that appeared was a composition pop up. Once I connected the remote to my phone via Bluetooth, I then opened the app.
